Are you ready to put your passion for design into action? Starting August 2026, you have the chance to start your creative journey with Valencia! During your four-year apprenticeship as a Graphic Designer EFZ, you will dive into the colorful world of graphic design and bring your ideas to life every day.

Your apprenticeship at Valencia

You are right in the middle of the action from the start, working with a team of experienced designers, art directors, prepress specialists, copywriters, and account managers on exciting projects ranging from branding and advertising to campaigns and social media content. "Learning by doing" is our motto – you develop creative ideas and implement them with the latest design tools. Our professionals are always by your side, guiding you step by step.

Besides practical work in our agency, you will attend the School of Design in Basel 1.5 days per week. There, you will learn everything you need to really get started in the agency. And if you want to complete the vocational baccalaureate, we will support you with that as well.

What you bring

Above all, creativity, good imagination, and manual-technical skills. You should also be able to think in networks, have a good sense of language, and not be afraid to communicate your ideas clearly. Good organization and independence are definitely an advantage. It’s also great if you already have some experience with Adobe Creative Cloud. We require a completed compulsory schooling. A preparatory course at the School of Design Basel is recommended but not mandatory – the main thing is that you are enthusiastic about design!

What to expect from us

Our team will support you on your path. Trainers and other apprentices will accompany you during your training. And you will benefit from great extras such as lunch vouchers and an annual team trip to "Valencia." Our inspiring location in the heart of Basel city center, just a few minutes from the train station, offers you short distances and a great working atmosphere.
