With over 170 own and franchise studios worldwide, we pursue one goal: to make people capable, healthy and self-determined at any age through targeted strengthening of the musculoskeletal system, especially the back.
To strengthen our HR DACH team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for our system headquarters in Zurich for a
HR Generalist (m/f/d)
Your mission
As an HR Generalist (m/f/d), you are the central contact person for employees and managers in Switzerland and independently responsible for defined support areas at the system headquarters in Zurich as well as in the Swiss main studios. In addition, you support the HR care of our physiotherapy department as needed. With your expertise, advisory competence and sensitivity for people, you support managers in all personnel-related matters and create the framework for successful and trusting collaboration. You accompany employees throughout the entire employee lifecycle, ensure a professional, efficient and legally compliant implementation of our HR processes and make an important contribution to a positive employee experience.
Furthermore, you contribute your expertise to the further development of HR processes, systems and selected HR projects within Kieser’s HR world.
What you achieve
As a contact person for employees and managers, you accompany the entire employee lifecycle in your support areas, advise on personnel-related, labour law and organisational issues, and support employee discussions as well as individual personnel measures.
You prepare labour law documents such as contracts and references precisely and reliably in close coordination with the legal department and ensure careful, GDPR-compliant maintenance and archiving of all personnel data and documents.
Together with our fiduciary and finance team, you are responsible for preparing payroll accounting, handle topics related to social insurance and support audits, annual financial statements as well as communication with authorities and insurers.
In working time and absence management, you keep an overview, support questions regarding time recording in the HR system Abacus and ensure compliance with legal and company requirements, for example in cases of illness with insurers.
Through your advice, expertise and sensitivity for people, you create the framework for a positive employee experience, support managers in their personnel responsibilities and make an important contribution to trusting and successful collaboration.
You also take responsibility for recruitment at the system headquarters in Zurich and deputise for physiotherapy. Furthermore, you work with our HR system Abacus and the applicant management system Recruitee, contribute your ideas to the further development of processes and systems and support selected HR initiatives in areas such as employer branding, onboarding and offboarding processes, and employee retention.
What defines you
You have a solid HR education, for example a commercial basic training with further education as an HR specialist with a federal certificate or a comparable qualification.
Several years of experience in a generalist HR role give you confidence in managing the entire employee lifecycle. Ideally, you have gained this experience in an SME or service environment.
You are confident and pragmatic in Swiss labour law and social insurance and have experience in topics such as payroll administration, withholding tax and official audits.
Empathy, discretion and a strong service orientation characterise you as well as your ability to competently, solution-oriented and on an equal footing advise employees and managers with a pronounced service orientation. You communicate fluently in German and have good English skills; French skills are an advantage.
You work in a structured, independent manner with a high quality standard. Even in demanding situations, you keep an overview, think holistically and approach topics solution-oriented.
You are enthusiastic about digital HR processes and modern HR systems. You are familiar with digital HR tools such as Abacus, Recruitee or comparable applications as well as MS Office programmes and enjoy continuously developing and optimising processes.
