To strengthen our team, we are looking for a

Tax Advisor for VAT (m/f/d)

Your main tasks are

• Comprehensive VAT advice for medium to large clients from various industries
• Tax assessment of national and cross-border matters from the perspective of Swiss and EU VAT
• Preparation of ruling requests and participation in appeal procedures
• VAT advice in the areas of M&A and structuring
• Support of clients during VAT audits and representation vis-à-vis the Swiss Federal Tax Administration (ESTV)
• Support in the area of general VAT compliance

For this position you bring

• A completed degree in law or economics (university/FH) and further training in the tax field, preferably completed (MAS VAT / Certified Tax Expert or comparable qualification)
• 6 – 8 years of practical experience in Swiss VAT and a strong interest in the VAT system in the EU (preferably with practical experience)
• Strong analytical skills, entrepreneurial thinking and a high solution orientation
• Teamwork skills, excellent communication skills, high service orientation
• Fluent German and English skills (French or Italian skills are welcome but not required)
