The Opportunity
Hitachi Energy High Voltage Products is the globally recognised specialist for power transmission and power distribution. The service unit is responsible for worldwide after-sales support of generator circuit breaker systems (GCB) and gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) including training, installation and commissioning, scheduled maintenance, additional services, troubleshooting, expansions, modifications and replacements.

In the challenging position as Assembly Project Manager for Switchgear 80-100% (m/f/d), you take responsibility for the professional and timely execution of assembly, commissioning and maintenance work. You work on the continuous improvement of processes and activities (CIP), with the aim of always achieving high customer satisfaction and an optimal project result for Hitachi Energy.
What you can achieve
In this role, you take over the handling and organisational leadership and coordination of the "assembly, commissioning and maintenance work on site"
Contact person for internal and external customers
Support of the assigned field staff, creation of assembly schedules taking into account the available and necessary resources (consumables, tools and personnel) and monitoring and documentation of project progress and costs (reporting)
Responsibility for compliance with safety regulations and required quality assurance measures, for minimising project costs and risks as well as for the process-compliant handling of deviation reports during on-site work, including initiating appropriate corrective actions
Complete compilation, filing and archiving of documentation (red mark, test protocols and reports) for "as built" creation as well as invoicing to the customer
Your background
Technical basic training and several years of practical experience in the assembly and/or commissioning of GIS systems
Solid technical expertise and leadership experience is an advantage
Further training such as technician school, technical business administrator, etc. is an advantage
Good German and English skills, both spoken and written; additional languages are an advantage
Confident appearance and convincing communication skills, especially in working with different cultures
Teamwork and organisational strength
Assertiveness and leadership skills with willingness to visit construction sites worldwide
Good knowledge of SAP and MS Office
