As a Product Owner, you are responsible for the further development of two important systems: the Medgate Partner Portal and the core system SOFIA.

You work closely with the Business Owner, the Technical Team Lead, and the Vietnamese development team to ensure that solutions are implemented efficiently, with high quality, and in line with strategic goals. You actively use AI in structuring requirements, accelerating delivery, and continuously improving product quality.

Your tasks

• You are responsible for the product backlog and prioritise requirements based on business value and strategic goals
• You translate business requirements into clear, actionable user stories with acceptance criteria
• Close collaboration with Business Owner, UX/UI, Analytics, and development team
• You plan and accompany sprints and ensure timely delivery
• Taking responsibility for the quality of delivered features (including UAT)
• Ensuring that a high proportion of features (≥90%) meet requirements and are accepted by the business on the first test run
• You use data and KPIs to manage and continuously improve the product
• Moderate workshops and bring different stakeholders to a common vision

Working with AI

• Active use of AI (e.g. Claude Code) to support discovery, backlog refinement, and delivery
• You structure requirements so that they can be efficiently converted into actionable work packages
• You contribute to continuously improving efficiency, quality, and time-to-market through targeted use of AI

Your profile

• Several years of experience (approx. 4–6 years) as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst in an agile environment
• Degree in computer science / business informatics or equivalent education
• Experience with agile methods (Scrum / Kanban) and interdisciplinary teams
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Good understanding of software development and quality assurance processes
• Interest or experience in using AI in product development
• Enthusiasm for the possibilities of digitalisation in healthcare
• You are an innovative thinker and enjoy finding good solutions for complex problems
• Very good German and English skills
• Willingness to work 2-3 days per week on site in Allschwil
