The Child and Adult Protection Authority KESB is responsible for ensuring the protection of adults and children. The Legal & Social Affairs Department conducts investigations in child and adult protection and supports the authority members in their further tasks.

Your Responsibilities
- Assuming the personnel, professional and organisational leadership of the interdisciplinary Legal and Social Affairs Department with 12 employees
- Professional instruction, support and promotion of employees as well as ensuring business, quality and deadline control for the investigation and support tasks assigned to the department
- Further development of the department regarding the standardisation of investigations in child and adult protection as well as ensuring the implementation of defined processes
- Co-shaping the organisation as a member of the management team and participating in overarching organisational, quality and development issues
- Assuming the liaison function between management, authority and departments as well as internal and external interfaces
- Leading or participating in various working groups and projects
- Possibly participating as a deputy authority member
Your Profile
- Tertiary qualification in law or social work
- Several years of professional and leadership experience, preferably in a KESB, an administration or at a court
- Independent, pragmatic, assertive, structured and networked-thinking leadership personality with a sense of humour
- Strong communication skills in spoken and written form
- Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration as well as willingness to take responsibility and contribute constructively to the whole
- Cooperation-promoting, socially competent and confident demeanour
- Respectful and reflective approach to people in difficult life situations
