Announcement by the IT department of Haute Ecole Arc for a position of

Data Engineer / BI Engineer at 50% (IT Specialist – B)
within the Analysis & Business Solutions team.

As part of the modernisation of our Data & Analytics platform, we are looking for a Data / BI Engineer to contribute to the evolution of our decision-making ecosystem.

Your missions

• Play a central role in migrating our reporting solutions from Tableau to Power BI and in developing our Microsoft Fabric platform.
• Participate in the maintenance and evolution of our Oracle data hub, notably through the integration of new data sources via APIs.

Your tasks

• Migrate reports and dashboards from Tableau to Power BI.
• Develop and maintain reporting solutions using Power BI.
• Participate in the deployment and operation of Microsoft Fabric.
• Ensure the maintenance and evolution of the Oracle data hub.
• Collect and integrate data via REST APIs and other data sources.
• Document developments and provide user support.

Your profile

• Proven experience with Power BI.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric.
• Good command of SQL and Oracle databases.
• Experience in data integration via APIs.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data modelling.
• Autonomy, analytical mindset and service orientation.
• Rigor and discretion.

Employment conditions

• Higher education in computer science (HES or equivalent).
• Proven experience in Data Engineering and/or Business Intelligence.
• Practical experience with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, SQL and Oracle databases.
• Start date: 1 January 2027 or to be agreed.
• Workplace: Neuchâtel.
• Salary commensurate with the position.
