Due to a succession arrangement, we are looking for a committed, strong leadership personality with technical understanding and enthusiasm for facility management to lead our Facility Management department immediately or by arrangement as

Head of Facility Management (80 - 100 %)

You will take overall responsibility for the caretaking department of our 16 settlements with over 260 buildings. Together with your team, you ensure the smooth operation of our properties and further develop the facility management area.

These are your additional tasks

• Departmental responsibility for facility management (building services, cleaning and garden maintenance)
• Maintenance planning and execution for all abl settlements
• Negotiation and management of contracts, offers and service agreements as well as responsibility for space management
• Ensuring quality, environmental, safety and occupational health standards
• Budget responsibility and process optimisation
• Introduction and further development of a CAFM tool as well as ensuring quality management
• Development and implementation of an energy management concept
• Coordination of internal and external work
• Responsibility for personnel planning and leadership of three team leaders including an apprentice

What you bring with you

• Completed studies (university of applied sciences/university) in facility management or a comparable education and training
• Several years of professional experience in facility management of real estate
• Experience in leading and developing employees as well as recognition as a trainer for the professional qualification "Specialist in Operational Maintenance EFZ, Building Services"
• Knowledge in the field of sustainability and energy management
• Technical, manual and business understanding
• Affinity for building technology (HVAC)
• Negotiation and communication skills
• High service orientation, organisational talent and a friendly and confident manner
• Driving licence category B
