Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced specialist and leader as Team Leader: Ventilation / Senior Project Manager: Building Technology to lead a ventilation team and realise technically demanding systems. You combine operational project management with personnel and technical leadership and are responsible for projects regarding costs, deadlines, quality, and profitability. In addition to project execution, you contribute to the further development of the specialist department and take responsibility in acquisition, customer care, and project controlling. You specifically incorporate current technical developments and innovative solutions into the planning and implementation of ventilation and air conditioning systems.
Responsibilities:
Technical and operational management of the ventilation team as well as coordination of ongoing projects and resources
Support of the department management in the strategic and organisational development of the specialist department
Overall responsibility for demanding ventilation and air conditioning projects from planning to handover
Management of projects regarding costs, deadlines, quality, and profitability
Management of ongoing project controlling including cost forecasts, post-calculations, and project status
Coordination of clients, architects, specialist planners, suppliers, and installation teams
Technical assessment and optimisation of ventilation, air conditioning, and air distribution systems
Support of calculation, tendering, AVOR, procurement, and execution
Active acquisition of new construction projects as well as preparation and monitoring of offers
Building and maintaining long-term relationships with customers, planners, architects, and suppliers
Monitoring technical developments and integrating new materials, products, and processes into project execution
Ensuring implementation according to relevant SIA, SWKI, and other Swiss standards and regulations
Qualifications:
Completed basic training in ventilation or building technology
Further training as HF technician in building technology or comparable higher professional education is an advantage
Several years of professional experience as project manager ventilation, ideally with initial leadership responsibility
Sound knowledge in ventilation and air conditioning technology as well as project controlling
Good knowledge of relevant SIA, SWKI, and Swiss building technology regulations
Very good German language skills spoken and written
Driving licence category B
