We are looking for you as soon as possible for qualification as a switch mechanic (m/f/d) at DB InfraGO AG at the Basel location.
You will undergo a tailored internal qualification that supports you on the approximately 18-month path to becoming a switch mechanic. In the process, you will further develop your skills and acquire extensive knowledge for your new role.
Already during your qualification, you will take on the following tasks:
- You are responsible for the inspection, maintenance and repair in signal boxes and of mechanical components, such as switch drives, switch frogs, wheel guides
- The creation of measurement and test protocols as well as completion reports are also within your area of responsibility
- Together with your colleagues, you will look after the Basel region assigned to you
- You use the materials, modern devices and measuring instruments provided to you conscientiously and professionally
Your profile:
- Successfully completed vocational training in the commercial-technical field, such as metalworker, industrial mechanic, construction mechanic, bricklayer, carpenter or comparable
- You are willing to work outdoors in cold, wet or hot conditions
- After comprehensive training, you are also willing to participate in rotating on-call duty and occasional night and weekend work
- High willingness to learn as well as a structured and reliable way of working characterise you
- A valid driving licence class B is an advantage
