To strengthen our Engineering & Maintenance team in the Development & Manufacturing Solutions area at the Visp site, we are looking for an Electrical Measurement and Control Engineering (EMR) Engineer. You will be responsible for maintenance and projects for single- or multi-product plants.

Your tasks:
- You are responsible for planning and executing investment and conversion tasks in an automated production operation for pharmaceutical active ingredients. The focus is on the continuous adaptation and improvement of plants, processes and product changes to permanently meet the requirements for quality, safety and performance.
- You ensure the smooth operation and reliable performance of highly automated production plants equipped with DeltaV and MES systems.
- The GMP-compliant execution of all activities – including inspections, documentation and change management – is carried out using specialised systems such as Kneat and Ubik.
- You create and maintain plant documentation in SAP/COMOS to ensure ongoing compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- The coordination and monitoring of your projects regarding functionality, performance, costs and deadlines is part of your responsibilities, as is accompanying the projects from planning to successful commissioning.
- Through efficient planning and organisation of maintenance, you support ongoing operations and ensure optimal safety and availability of the plants.
- With your innovative and proactive working style, you promote technological developments and actively participate in interdisciplinary committees.
Your profile:
- Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Automation or Systems Engineering or Computer Science
- Initial professional experience in operational or project engineering, maintenance and new plant construction – ideally in a GMP-regulated environment in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry
- Knowledge of GMP, COMOS, DeltaV, MES and SAP
- Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration as well as an independent and flexible working style
- Strong team skills and very good communication skills
- Good German and English skills, both spoken and written
- Business thinking, high motivation and willingness to change complete your profile
