Senior BI Engineer

About the job

As a Senior BI Engineer, you will join a team of around 10 people to design, develop and maintain on-premise decision-making solutions. You will work closely with project managers, business analysts and end users to translate requirements into effective, high-performance and secure visualisations.

Design, develop, maintain and deploy BI solutions (Power BI, SSRS, SSAS).

Analyse requests, model data and design appropriate reports and dashboards.

Collaborate on BI projects in an agile environment.

Participate in handling incidents and occasional changes (Power BI).

Support users in exploiting the available data.

Be proactive in the continuous improvement of the decision-making platform.

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Technical certification(s) appreciated: Power BI / QlikSense.

Power BI on-premise, SSRS, SSAS.

Data modelling: data marts, data warehouse.

Securing data access.

Advanced SQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).

Supporting users in dashboard creation.

BI engineering (architecture, performance, migration, testing).

QlikSense loading scripts.

Good ITIL practices, project management (HERMES, agile).

Data integration via API, Python or R scripting.

Administration of Power BI / QlikSense platforms.

Automation / IBM Cognos Analytics.

Strong analytical skills, autonomy, rigour.

Clear communication, pedagogy, listening skills.

Comfortable in demanding and evolving environments.
