Legal Consultant Pension (m/f/d)

Are you motivated by the idea of handling challenging legal issues around occupational and private pensions and especially supporting our French-speaking customers? Would you like to contribute your legal expertise in an experienced specialist team and develop yourself long-term in pension and insurance law?
In this role, you will strengthen the Claims business area at Zurich Switzerland in the Life Benefits, Life Legal Services sector, making an important contribution to our shared success. As part of a well-coordinated team of lawyers, you will independently handle legal questions and cases from occupational pensions, pillar 3a and life insurance, with a special focus on the French-speaking part of Switzerland, and conduct court proceedings. At the same time, you will support our Claims teams and other specialist areas with your legal expertise and contribute to projects and the further development of our pension topics. Presentations at training sessions and customer events complete this challenging and varied role.
What to expect
- You independently handle complex legal cases in occupational and private pensions, especially in French
- You conduct court proceedings and represent Zurich’s interests in legal disputes
- You advise Claims teams and other specialist areas on legal questions relating to group life, individual life and pensions
- You work in interdisciplinary projects and bring the legal perspective into the development of solutions and processes
- You collaborate with internal and external stakeholders such as customers, sales, legal representatives, contract partners and authorities
What distinguishes you
- Legal university degree (Master of Law or lic. iur.) from a Swiss university, preferably with a lawyer’s licence
- Very good French skills as well as good German skills in spoken and written form
- Strong interest in occupational and private pensions as well as insurance and tax law issues
- Ability to independently analyse complex legal matters and develop clear, practical solutions
- Convincing communication and negotiation skills as well as a structured and responsible working style
