For our Weighing & Instrument Components (MTWIC) division, which is leading in the industrialisation and production of laboratory scales and other high-resolution gravimetric instruments, MFR force sensor terminals, and circuit boards for the entire MT group, we are looking for a motivated person at the Nänikon/Greifensee site, the global operational headquarters of METTLER TOLEDO, as a: CNC Specialist 80 - 100% (all genders)In this role, you will undertake the following tasks:You will create and maintain machine programmes with a primary focus on CNC milling/turning (EDM as needed)You will take care of the continuous maintenance and optimisation of existing programmes Additionally, you will be responsible for introducing and commissioning new parts on the production equipment, as well as their industrialisation and documentationYou will be responsible for the continuous optimisation of processes and programmes for existing equipment and parts and implement lean projects (CIP, 5S, SMED, etc.).You will be involved in the introduction of new components and processes in collaboration with R&D or I&E and support these from the mechanical sideYou will participate in internal projects such as maintenance and servicing, evaluation of new machines, infrastructure, as well as conducting various tests and also carry project responsibility yourselfThe procurement and provision of tools and fixtures according to applicable standards, as well as the creation of documentation and its handover to production, complete your task profileFinally, you will instruct production staff and provide 2nd level support for technical problems on the equipment and parts
