As a vehicle mechanic, you work with various materials, with metal being the focus. Based on plans, you build the basic structure of a vehicle, assemble parts, install loading areas, and equip the vehicle with the necessary accessories. This also includes the hydraulics and electronics of a vehicle, which are part of the responsibilities of a vehicle mechanic. A completed apprenticeship offers many development and further training opportunities in technical professions.
