French Teacher / DELF Trainer
Founded in 1924, the International School of Geneva (Ecolint) welcomes 4,500 students aged 3 to 18 representing more than 130 nationalities. FRENCH TEACHER / DELF TRAINER
La Châtaigneraie - Part-time - 2 periods per week (Tuesday - Thursday)
Inspire our students through learning the French language and preparing for DELF certifications within a stimulating international environment.

Your role and responsibilities:
- Teach the French language (DELF / French as a Foreign Language) to primary school students
- Prepare and effectively train students for DELF exams (Prim A1 levels).
- Regularly assess students’ progress and write detailed reports for families.
- Work closely with the teaching team and department head to ensure quality teaching.
- Manage teaching resources optimally to maintain a stimulating learning environment.
Profile sought:
You are a passionate language teaching professional who will thrive in this role if you have:
- A university degree in French as a Foreign Language (FLE / DELPF) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching FLE / DELF to adolescent learners.
- Certification as a DELF examiner/corrector (A1 to B2) is a major asset.
- Fluency in French (native speaker or equivalent level) and ability to communicate in English.
- Excellent classroom management skills and organisational sense.
- A dynamic and creative teaching approach, able to adapt pedagogy to varied profiles.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to maintain constructive relationships with students, staff and parents.
- Previous experience in an international school environment is a significant advantage.
