The Rathaus Pharmacy in Frauenfeld is an owner-managed and independent pharmacy. In the elegant premises in the old town of Frauenfeld, over 80 years of tradition meet the latest technology. We offer young motivated people training to become a Pharmacy Specialist EFZ. The 3-year apprenticeship is completed in a small team. This guarantees personal and individual support during the apprenticeship, but at the same time requires a high degree of flexibility and great commitment from the trainees.

CHOOSING A PROFESSION IS AN IMPORTANT STEP

Choosing a vocational apprenticeship is a big step in life. Therefore, it is important to us that both the training company and the trainees are convinced that training as a Pharmacy Specialist EFZ is the optimal entry into a long professional life and that the trainees feel comfortable with us during their apprenticeship. The training with us is professionally demanding and requires a certain resilience. Since we want to avoid frustrating situations for the trainees at all costs, we place great importance on the applicants getting to know the team, the company, and the operational processes as well as possible before a mutual decision is made.

THE APPLICATION PROCESS

To ensure that we all make the right decision, the application process for a vocational apprenticeship with us takes place in the following steps:

1. You submit your application for a trial apprenticeship or an apprenticeship.
2. We review your application and, if positive, invite you to a trial day at the Rathaus Pharmacy. On this day, you get to know the team and the operational processes. At the end of the trial day, you take an aptitude test, as the professional everyday life as a Pharmacy Specialist is often complex and mathematical and logical thinking are just as important as linguistic and social skills.
3. If the trial day and aptitude test are positive for both sides, you spend two more trial days in the pharmacy and gain a deeper insight into the profession.
4. The total of three trial days plus a subsequent week of reflection provide the candidates and the company with a good professional and personal basis for decision-making, and if the result is positive for both sides, you can start your training with us with joy and confidence.
