At the Grabenstrasse School, around 200 pupils are taught by a dedicated and collegial team with a cooperative and supportive school management at the kindergarten and primary levels. Grabenstrasse School is a QUIMS school, focusing on language promotion, integration, and academic success. As a member of School Network 21, it is a health-promoting school.
We are looking for a maternity cover from 4 January to 16 July 2027 for a
Kindergarten Teacher, Workload 8 WL / 28% (4 WL KLP, 4 WL IF) Working Days Monday and Friday
Your main tasks
- Teaching with contemporary teaching and learning methods according to the cantonal curriculum
- Maintaining and promoting the pupils' joy of learning
- Collaboration with the job partner, specialists, parents, and school management
- Commitment within the team for school development, joint projects, etc.
- Participation in internal school meetings and further training
Your profile
- A teaching diploma for the kindergarten level recognised in Switzerland
- High social competence, commitment, flexibility, and ability to work in a team
- A teacher who enjoys working at a multicultural school
- A motivated, open personality who supports integrative promotion in the class
- A teacher who maintains a respectful approach with all involved parties
- A personality who enjoys engaging in a team and has a positive attitude towards school and teaching development
