The Crans-Montana Clinic, nestled in the heart of the Valais Alps, is a hospital site of the HUG. Its hospital missions consist of caring for patients for rehabilitation in general internal and psychosomatic medicine, polyvalent post-operative or post-hospitalisation rehabilitation in an acute setting. The Crans-Montana Clinic holds FMH recognition for general internal medicine and trains internal medicine doctors. It develops academic research projects in connection with the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Geneva.
Job description
You develop, propose, apply and evaluate physiotherapy treatments in accordance with the physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis and medical prescription in order to recover, improve or maintain the bio-psycho-social functions and activities of patients.
You provide individual or group care for adult patients and ensure their physical and psychological comfort throughout the therapeutic process. You also use educational approaches such as therapeutic education, promoting adherence to treatments, prevention and health education.
You actively participate in interdisciplinary exchanges, conferences and case discussions. You work closely with doctors, health professionals and all care partners to ensure coordinated and high-quality care.
You ensure the traceability of interventions in the patient record, participate in the management and maintenance of therapeutic equipment and contribute to the continuous improvement of the service's offerings.
You participate in the reception, integration and supervision of new employees, students and trainees. You also contribute to the development of professional knowledge through your participation in training activities and, where applicable, clinical research projects.
Meticulous, autonomous and organised, you demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working in an interprofessional team in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
You hold a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy or an equivalent diploma recognised for professional practice in Switzerland. A specialised postgraduate training, such as a CAS in trainer practitioner, is an asset.
You have a strong interest in rehabilitation and interdisciplinary patient care. Experience in a hospital or rehabilitation setting is an advantage.
You have excellent oral and written French skills (minimum C1 level or native language).
You are comfortable with IT tools and electronic care documentation. You demonstrate autonomy, rigour, organisation and good interpersonal skills.
You appreciate working in an interprofessional team and identify with the values of trust, respect, team spirit, recognition, equality and inclusion.
