The company is an established Swiss industrial enterprise with many years of experience and a strong market position in a specialised technical environment. As part of a succession arrangement, a committed individual is sought as Employee Finance and Accounting 60–100%. Together with two other team members, you will ensure operational accounting and also liaise with French-speaking contacts.

Your tasks with the new employer:

• Together with the finance team, you ensure the operational day-to-day business and handle tasks in the general ledger as well as in accounts receivable and accounts payable accounting
• You actively participate in interim and annual financial statements as well as in intercompany reconciliations and can continuously expand your existing closing knowledge
• As a contact person, you support internal departments with professional questions regarding accounting and also communicate with French-speaking contacts
• You document and review existing processes and controls, contribute to their further development and support the training of apprentices if necessary

You offer your new employer:

• You have a commercial basic education and have already completed further training as an accounting clerk or are currently undergoing corresponding further training
• You bring initial to several years of professional experience in accounting; knowledge in the closing area is an advantage, but closing certainty is not required
• In addition to confident German skills, you have good to very good French skills and can communicate confidently in French in everyday professional life
• You work carefully, structured and reliably, have a good IT affinity and use the common MS Office programmes confidently
