About the job

For over 200 years, GVZ Building Insurance Canton Zurich has insured all buildings in the Canton of Zurich against fire and natural hazard damage and is committed to protecting people, animals, and property through prevention and intervention. With our commitment to fire protection, natural hazard prevention, and fire brigades, we ensure greater safety in the Canton of Zurich.

For our insurance department, we are seeking committed support immediately until the end of May 2027 to assist with the administration of the currently numerous damage inquiries and reports.

How you can contribute with us

Answering telephone enquiries and providing relief in customer service
Handling various customer enquiries via email and telephone
General administrative tasks related to processing damage reports
Mutations and data processing in the damage management system

What you bring with you

Initial experience in the administrative field, insurance experience is an advantage
High service orientation, resilience, and flexibility
Quick comprehension and friendly interaction with customers (phone, email)
Very good IT affinity (e.g. handling MS Office)
Open-minded, helpful, and committed personality
Very good oral and written German skills are mandatory
