Java Software Engineer - Spring Boot / Kafka

Project:
Our client is looking for a very experienced backend Java developer to support them in the development of real-time data transmission systems. (Reference number: 925221RF)

Tasks:
• You shape design, architecture and determine the solution together with the key roles
• You enjoy developing high-performance applications
• You implement solutions independently, represent them with conviction and actively contribute your learnings to the team.
• You identify optimisation potentials and proactively drive improvements
• You consider code performance and incorporate this into your software development
• You develop and maintain our applications according to Scrum
• You share your knowledge with the team and support junior developers

Requirements:
• Completed degree in computer science (university/technical college) or comparable qualification
• At least ten years of experience in software development with Java and Spring Boot
• At least three years of experience with Kafka, SQL and REST
• Profound knowledge in the design and development of distributed applications as well as experience with unit and integration testing and with GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, Splunk and Citrus
• Quality-conscious working style with a good sense for architecture, maintainability, performance and automated quality assurance
• You bring broad experience from the FinTech and financial sector.
• Very good German and good English skills
