Do you enjoy making people feel good and creating a pleasant atmosphere with your warm manner? As a host or hostess on our geriatric psychiatry and dementia ward, you combine service with personal closeness: You are close to the patients, have an open ear for their needs and contribute with your commitment to making them feel comfortable and welcome in the daily ward routine. No day is like the other. Between meal orders, snacks and small encounters, you are an important contact person on the ward. Together with nursing, nutritional counselling and the kitchen, you ensure that the service around the patients runs smoothly – thus becoming a valuable part of our interprofessional team.

Your tasks

• You work in a meaningful, versatile and lively environment on the geriatric psychiatry and dementia ward
• You take meal orders, offer snacks and prepare the food
• You regularly communicate with the patients
• You are responsible for a clean ward kitchen and ensure that the ward always has fresh laundry
• You are committed to a pleasant and hospitable ward atmosphere
• You are an important support for the nursing team and thus contribute significantly to a high quality of care
• Through collaboration with various professionals from nursing, nutritional counselling and the kitchen, your work remains varied

Your profile

• You already have professional experience in the areas of hotel service, housekeeping or sales
• You impress with your friendly, courteous and well-groomed appearance
• You possess high social and personal skills
• The service mindset is always your top priority – whether towards patients, visitors or ward staff
• Thanks to your work, both patients and visitors feel comfortable and welcome
