We are looking for dedicated and skilled individuals to join our shop floor across several areas in our department Piece Part Repair at Zurich Airport. If this sounds appealing to you, we encourage you to apply for our CNC-Polymechanic position.As a CNC-Polymechanic you will:
- Mechanically process engine and aircraft parts according to manufacturer and engineering documentation (e.g. Shotpeen, thermal spray)
- Document work performed and ensure quality through independent checks
- Apply Lean Six Sigma methods (Lean Events, 5S, Root Cause Analysis) to improve processes and safety
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational requirements
- Work precisely and autonomously using machine tools and precision measuring instruments
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately
Your Profile
- Completed apprenticeship as a Polymechanic EFZ, specializing in manufacturing
- Experience as a CNC Operator with knowledge of control system programming
- Skilled in using machine tools and precision measuring instruments
- Responsible, reliable, and quality-focused work ethic
- Able to work independently with high precision and accountability
- Strong sense of safety, quality, performance, and cost awareness
- Good English and German skills (minimum B2)
- Work in a 2-shift system
