Job Description

Your main duties will be as follows:

• Preparation of operating rooms according to the different specialties: opening and setup
• Welcoming patients
• Positioning patients in surgical posture, in collaboration with the surgical team and the anaesthesia team
• Monitoring the progress of an operation: working in collaboration with the TSO, the surgical team and the anaesthesia team
• Ensuring traceability of the progress of an operation and the equipment used
• Maintenance of premises and equipment
• Knowledge and mastery of hygiene and asepsis rules

Qualifications

• Experience in the operating theatre is required as well as versatility for all types of specialties: orthopaedic surgery, neurosurgery, plastic surgery
• This role requires a keen sense of priorities and good stress management as well as the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Your organisational skills, ability to work independently and flexibility will be appreciated skills for this role
• Holding the ATSSO diploma is an advantage
