Are you confident with financial statements and looking to take on more responsibility? A versatile role in accounting awaits you, where you will act as deputy to the Head of Finance.

For our client, a service company in the public sector, we are seeking immediately or by arrangement a financial accountant with deputy responsibilities to the Head of Finance. The company offers a stable and varied working environment with short decision-making paths. You will become part of a well-coordinated four-person team and take on a central role within accounting.

Your tasks with the new employer:

• You will independently manage the general ledger and ensure accurate and transparent financial accounting
• Account reconciliations, reclassifications, and the coordination of various interfaces are part of your responsibilities
• As the professional deputy to the Head of Accounting, you will gradually take on additional responsibilities and represent the management in complex specialist questions and tasks
• You will actively participate in the annual financial statements according to OR and the budgeting process, prepare evaluations, and organise external audits
• Value-added tax returns, withholding tax, and bank account reconciliations are under your responsibility
• Together with the Head of Accounting, you will support liquidity planning, financing, and cash flow management
• If necessary, you will deputise in the accounts receivable area and support other processes within accounting

You offer your new employer:

• You have a commercial basic education and ideally hold the Swiss Federal Certificate in Finance and Accounting or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting as well as solid experience in the general ledger distinguish you
• You are confident with financial statements and wish to develop into the deputy role to the Head of Finance
• Knowledge of public sector accounting and HRM2 is an advantage; alternatively, you have worked in a service company
• You have gained part of your financial experience using the Abacus system
• You work independently, precisely, and responsibly and maintain an overview even with complex issues
• You are interested in digital processes and like to contribute your own ideas for optimisation
• You communicate fluently in German and appreciate working in a small, collegial team
