About the job
Our Prorectorate for Institutes & Continuing Education, established in 2019, is dedicated to the strategically crucial topics for HSG: institutes, secondary employment, and continuing education. It is located at the direct interface between university management, academia, and HSG service units, thus operating in a very dynamic environment. For the continuing education sector, we are seeking a person who wishes to become a true HSG expert, is eager to learn, and enriches our team with their reliable and open manner.
Your tasks
- You lead and coordinate HSG-wide projects in the continuing education sector.
- You are responsible for the operationalisation of the HSG continuing education strategy and accompany its implementation.
- You manage the affairs of the Continuing Education Commission (WBK) and ensure its professional and administrative processes.
- You represent the continuing education sector in university-wide projects, commissions, and working groups.
- You are the central contact point for university-wide continuing education matters.
- You actively participate in decision-making and planning processes by analysing complex issues and developing well-founded solution proposals.
Your profile
- A university degree is preferred given the strategic position of the role.
- Ideally, several years of professional experience in a project-oriented role, preferably in the continuing education sector.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent German and English skills.
- A very precise, structured, independent, and reliable working style.
- Flexibility and willingness to take on various tasks.
- A strong customer orientation and a professional communication style.
- Ideally, knowledge of the institutional conditions of the University of St.Gallen.
