Production Shift Supervisor

About the job

Responsibilities:

• Leadership and coordination of employees as well as organisation of personnel deployment during the shift
• Ensuring compliance with production, quality, and safety requirements
• Conducting shift briefings as well as complete documentation and handover of all relevant information
• Monitoring production processes, material supply, and production targets
• Performing quality checks as well as labelling and blocking non-compliant goods
• Feedback on production orders and material bookings in SAP ERP and Hydra MES
• Active participation in production, for example during setup processes, break cover, and simple troubleshooting

Profile:

• Completed technical, craft or industrial vocational training, alternatively several years of professional experience in industrial production
• Experience in leading or coordinating employees; willingness to work in 2- or 3-shift operations
• Good German and PC user skills; SAP knowledge is an advantage
• Forklift and overhead crane licence is an advantage
• Strong quality and safety awareness as well as a reliable and structured way of working
• Decision-making ability, assertiveness and fair, clear communication
