Sustainability Manager 80 – 100 % (m/f/d)
True to the vision "We drive innovation to improve people’s lives," the Hamilton companies have been delivering solutions for the healthcare sector since 1950. We are an innovative pioneer in ventilators, automated pipetting and storage of samples, as well as the development of process sensors.
The Business Unit Operations produces parts for all Hamilton companies, from injection-moulded parts to pipette tips for liquid handling, to metal and plastic components. Our goal is to produce as many parts in-house as possible. This keeps us agile, independent, and efficient.
What you can achieve:
Co-responsibility for the leadership and expansion of the Sustainability division at Hamilton
Support in the strategic conception of Hamilton’s sustainability orientation and development of internal sustainability guidelines
Independent planning, execution, and control of sustainability projects to anchor the sustainability orientation at Hamilton
Driving forward the CO2 reduction strategy according to the Science-based Targets Initiative and continuous monitoring of target achievement
Participation in maintaining the environmental management system according to ISO 14001; contact person for audits
Sparring partner and support for Hamilton companies on sustainability topics
Developing and implementing systems and indicators for monitoring and reporting for sustainability reports and communication
Participation in the annual EcoVadis sustainability assessment
What you bring with you:
Completed studies in sustainability management, environmental sciences, environmental management, or equivalent further training in these areas
Several years of professional experience in sustainability in a similar role
Enthusiasm for sustainability and strategic understanding of the topic
Ability to analyse complex issues, design according to sustainability requirements, and explain results appropriately to the target audience
Organisational skills and experience in project management including documentation
High sense of responsibility and great resilience
Excellent written and spoken English and German skills (Level C1/C2)
