The sensitive transition period around pregnancy, birth and early parenthood requires complex internal and external adjustments, which for some families represent an emotional crisis. The peripartum crisis support project aims to accompany and support families in this transition period on an outpatient basis in their home environment.

Your tasks

• Active participation in the development and implementation of the new pilot project
• Co-development of processes, structures and services
• Conducting psychiatric needs assessments and recording the individual support needs of families in peripartum crisis situations in their home environment according to applicable cantonal regulations
• Case management, care planning as well as accompanying and supporting families in peripartum crisis situations in consultation with the specialist management
• Case management and interprofessional collaboration and networking with internal and external specialists in consultation with the specialist management
• Continuous observation and professional assessment of the mental state and support needs
• If necessary, medication management and support in the implementation of therapeutic measures in consultation with the specialist management and the interdisciplinary treatment team
• Proper documentation and participation in quality assurance
• Trauma-sensitive, attachment-oriented work with families in crisis situations

Your profile

• Training as a qualified nurse HF or BSc in Nursing FH, in the psychiatric field
• At least two years of total professional experience at 100% employment in the psychiatric field (part-time requires correspondingly longer experience)
• Experience in outpatient and outreach psychiatric care
• Experience in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating psychiatric Spitex services based on individual care and support needs in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team
• Experience in somatic care
• Experience in case management and interprofessional collaboration
• Ideally experience in supporting family systems in peripartum crises as well as knowledge in the areas of attachment development, pregnancy, birth and early parenthood - or willingness to pursue targeted further training in these topics
• Willingness to continuously develop personally and professionally within an interdisciplinary team
• Open, mindful, responsible personality
• Independent, resilient and team-oriented working style
• Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration and building a new service
• Driving licence category B available
