Role:
The internationally active Swiss engineering company specialises in the development and realisation of customised systems for industrial waste logistics and recyclable material processing. The range of services extends from compact pressing and compression systems to complex automated complete systems for shredding, sorting, dust extraction, and disposal of various materials such as paper, cardboard, plastic, and other recyclables. The solutions are used worldwide, among others, in printing houses, banks, packaging companies, logistics centres, and recycling companies. The company combines engineering, software development, plant construction, and service from a single source.
Employees can expect a technically versatile and internationally oriented working environment in a specialised SME with around 80 employees. Collaboration is characterised by short decision-making paths, direct exchange, and the opportunity to contribute one’s own ideas. The different specialist areas result in varied tasks and exciting development opportunities. Responsibilities:
You ensure correct and timely financial accounting and are responsible for postings and reconciliations in the general ledger and cash register.
You support periodic closing activities and financial analyses with meaningful evaluations of cost centres, margins, and sales bonuses.
The entire handling of accounts payable processes including invoice verification, supplier master data, payment runs, and expenses is part of your duties.
In the accounts receivable area, you monitor incoming payments, process outstanding receivables, and manage dunning and debt collection.
You take care of VAT matters in Switzerland and Germany and keep an eye on bank balances and guarantees.
Qualifications:
A completed commercial basic training forms your professional foundation.
You already have practical experience in financial accounting, especially in accounts payable and receivable as well as receivables management.
You communicate very well in German and convince with your precise, reliable, and proactive manner.
