About the job
In our carpentry workshop in Münchenstein, high-quality woodwork is created with great attention to detail. We manufacture bespoke furniture, restore existing pieces, and undertake individual commissions. At the same time, we produce our own wooden products such as toys and decorations.
We focus on inclusion, teamwork, and individual support in our carpentry workshop. In all activities, the emphasis is always on the support mandate for people with mental health challenges. For our team, we are looking for a Carpenter EFZ 50% who brings extensive experience and passion for the profession. You enjoy guiding and supporting people. Your tasks:
- You lead the carpentry workshop together with your team colleagues and share responsibility for professional and financial management
- You are familiar with current safety regulations and implement them
- You support people with mental health challenges pedagogically in their daily work
- You plan and document the support according to recognised professional and quality standards (IBB)
- You work closely with referrers, authorities, and various VSP services
- You operate and maintain the machines
- You share responsibility for the sales of own products
What distinguishes you:
- You have completed training as a carpenter (EFZ) and have work experience. Ideally, you have worked in a small carpentry workshop. You have accepted customer orders, advised customers, quoted, planned, and implemented orders
- You have already gained experience in supporting and guiding people with woodworking tasks
- You are a service-oriented, humorous, and motivated person, pragmatic in finding solutions
- You have good German language skills and are proficient in using IT systems
- You hold a category B driving licence
- You work 2.5 days per week
