You are the driving force for quality and continuous improvement in all project phases within our project execution area for Rail Infrastructure. Together with your team colleagues, you promote a quality-oriented culture within the project teams. You work closely with project management and specialist departments and ensure that our projects meet the highest standards. Your excellent process knowledge and organisational skills lead you to success.
Your new field of responsibility
- Creation and updating of project-specific quality plans, definition of quality objectives and monitoring using KPIs
- Support of milestone processes, moderation of Quality Gates and initiation of corrective actions in case of deviations; leading root cause analyses as well as implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Identification of quality-related risks and development of risk mitigation strategies
- Ensuring compliance with Siemens quality standards, industry regulations and contractual requirements and implementing systematic quality control processes for design, manufacturing, installation and commissioning
- Planning and conducting project audits, assessments and reviews as well as preparing quality reports
- Coordination with project management, engineering and operations teams and presentation of results to management and customers
- Supporting Supplier Quality Management to ensure the required quality level in the supply chain
Your talents and experience
- Higher education in engineering, quality management or technical apprenticeship combined with relevant further training in quality
- Extensive experience in project planning, execution and/or project management is essential
- Knowledge of relevant standards (e.g. ISO 10005/10006) and QM methods
- Very good organisational skills, independent working style, assertiveness and the ability to proactively drive improvements
- Fluent German and English skills
