To strengthen our team in the Supplementary Benefits department, we are looking for a
Lawyer (40 - 60%)
Your tasks
- Drafting appeal decisions in the area of supplementary benefits, especially for French-speaking files.
- Representing the Compensation Office of the Canton of Bern before administrative and federal courts.
- Advising caseworkers and specialists.
- Analysing legal and social developments to derive the need for action for the department.
Your profile
- Law degree; a lawyer’s licence is an advantage.
- Several years of professional experience in the legal department of a company, administration, or law firm.
- Sound knowledge in the areas of property, family, inheritance, and procedural law.
- Experience in conducting legal proceedings.
- Bilingualism (German and French) is mandatory for this role.
- Professional experience in social insurance law is desirable.
