The rail production of SZU is continuously evolving. New technologies, increasing demands and an increasingly networked collaboration shape our everyday life. As Head of Fundamentals & Education, you shape the foundations for learning, empowerment and further development throughout the entire rail production. You are responsible for the areas of regulations, training and further education, examination system as well as the systematic follow-up along the integrated rail production (ISB and EVU) and are a member of the operations management team. In everyday life, you ensure that operational requirements are implemented in a current, understandable and effective manner. Together with your team, you continuously develop training and further education, plan and coordinate educational formats and ensure that learning is tangible in everyday work and not just on paper. An important part of your task is the follow-up of incidents, key figures and experiences from daily business. These insights are structured and processed by you and your team and translated into concrete improvements. In this way, you make a direct contribution to safety, quality and the further development of our rail production.

You have several years of leadership and professional experience in a rail operational or comparable safety-relevant environment and enjoy developing people and organisations. You understand how learning, competence building and continuous improvement work in practice and combine conceptual thinking with a pragmatic, solution-oriented implementation. Experience in the areas of training and further education, regulations, examination system or quality and improvement processes is helpful. We also appreciate experience from other safety-critical industries such as aviation or industry, where learning and safety culture are firmly anchored. You convince through clarity, reliability and a structured and solution-oriented way of working.
