Our subsidiary TPA is the construction materials technical competence centre of the STRABAG Group for asphalt, concrete, earthworks and geotechnics. Over 1,000 experts ensure and improve quality in the production and processing of building materials such as asphalt, bitumen, concrete and cement.

Building Materials Tester / Laboratory Technician Erstfeld
Your Contribution with Us
- Carrying out sampling on construction sites throughout the German-speaking part of Switzerland
- Proper sample preparation and conducting tests in the areas of asphalt, concrete and earthworks according to applicable guidelines and test instructions
- Creation, maintenance and management of the associated test documentation
- Recording and documenting test and measurement results
- Labelling, proper handling and archiving of samples
- Monitoring and control of the testing equipment used
- Maintenance, servicing and upkeep of testing devices and laboratory facilities
- Ensuring timely procurement of auxiliary and operating materials
- Compilation and preparation of test-relevant data
- Ensuring proper and operational laboratory operations
What Counts for Us
- Completed technical training, ideally in the construction trade or a related field
- Experience as a building materials tester, laboratory technician or in a comparable role is an advantage
- Careful, precise and quality-conscious working style
- High degree of personal responsibility and reliability
- Teamwork skills as well as a committed and solution-oriented working approach
- Good knowledge of common MS Office applications, especially Word and Excel
- Driving licence category B
