Senior Credit Officer

What you will achieve:

• You conduct formal and substantive reviews of credit applications and support customer advisors in granting loans. You also analyse credit applications regarding risks and opportunities as well as structuring requests in close cooperation with the front units and various specialist departments
• You make credit decisions independently and prepare credit applications for higher authorities
• You record annual accounts of commercial customers and calculate ratings as well as debt capacities
• You manage and monitor credit portfolios with regard to guidelines, conditions and documentation
• You act as an interdisciplinary bridge builder and ensure continuous dialogue with the parties involved
• You actively contribute to process improvements and participate in projects

This is how you succeed:

• You have completed a banking apprenticeship (commercial vocational training) or a business administration degree (university, university of applied sciences, higher vocational school) with further specialised training in banking & finance
• Ideally, you have proven experience in lending and/or as a credit officer
• You possess excellent analytical skills to grasp complex issues and develop structuring solutions
• You impress with a competent and engaging manner, good communication skills with high social competence as well as responsible conduct
• You are characterised by a high degree of independence, flexibility and team orientation
• You are a committed and resilient personality who likes to take initiative, thinks entrepreneurially and remains curious at all times
• Good knowledge of the Finnova banking system or willingness to quickly familiarise yourself with it is an advantage.
