Your areas of responsibility

• Personnel and professional leadership of the Controlling unit
• Responsibility for financial planning, budgeting and reporting as well as for the internal control system (ICS) and risk management
• Further development of financial controlling into a valued business partner with a clear added value for managers
• Financial management and decision support for managers
• Advising managers on finance-related issues
• Taking on selected specialist and cross-sectional topics as deputy and sparring partner of the department head
• Ensuring meaningful analyses and developing well-founded decision-making bases for administration and politics
• Developing viable solutions for demanding challenges
• Designing and further developing financial systems, data structures and processes

What you bring

• Solid experience in finance, accounting, controlling or a related field
• Ability to independently familiarise yourself with new topics, recognise connections and successfully complete demanding projects
• Your own well-founded positions, which you also represent convincingly to the department management
• Binding and loyal conduct following a decision
• Enjoyment in taking responsibility, thinking along and constructively further developing existing processes
