OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST 80% PERMANENT CONTRACT

In this key role for maintaining independence at home, you intervene to promote the autonomy and social participation of beneficiaries, taking into account their resources and environment. Depending on your profile, your mission will consist of:

• Assessing the functional abilities and needs of beneficiaries at home

• Developing and implementing an intervention plan promoting autonomy in daily living activities

• Analysing and adapting the living environment to prevent risks and secure the home

• Collaborating closely with the interdisciplinary team and network partners

• Participating in prevention and health promotion actions (fall prevention, support for informal carers, etc.)

• Ensuring traceability of interventions and writing reports for partners and insurers

Profile

• Bachelor in occupational therapy (HES level or equivalent); recognition by the Swiss Red Cross or SEFRI required or in progress for foreign diplomas

• Experience in rehabilitation and/or geriatrics is an asset

• Strong interest in home care and supporting elderly people as well as those with mental health issues

• Good analytical and assessment skills of living conditions at home to adapt interventions and promote beneficiaries’ autonomy

• Excellent interpersonal skills: listening, communication and negotiation ability

• Sense of responsibility and strong professional ethics

• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team

• You share our values of transparency, fairness, respect and trust in all your professional interactions

• Proficiency with IT tools (patient records, planning, quality monitoring)

• Driving licence essential.
