About the job
The association sintegrA Zurich is a social organisation that has been committed for 30 years to the social and professional integration of people with a mental impairment and now operates various services in four enterprises.We are looking for an intern for the werkBAR (catering business) from August 2026.
Ideally, you are over 23 years old.
The werkBAR in the Leutschenbach district in Zurich Seebach is a bistro and take-away business. We offer people with a mental impairment permanent jobs in the secondary labour market and support clients of integration measures into the primary labour market.
Self-determination is taken seriously and lived within the framework of operational possibilities.
Your tasks
In the werkBAR you support the staff in the areas of production, sales and back office. The focus is on guiding, accompanying and quality control. Regularly, you also help with production yourself. You maintain a respectful contact with the staff, make yourself available as a contact person and provide targeted feedback. Small projects can be planned in consultation with the team.
Administrative tasks are delegated according to prior knowledge.
Requirements
It is central for us that you have a flair for dealing with people with mental impairments, bring high social skills and a careful interpersonal approach. You enjoy supporting people with a handicap and do not lose your patience and empathy even under stress. You appreciate working independently. Interest in the catering sector and kitchen tasks is expected; prior knowledge is not necessarily required.
We offer
You can expect an exciting and very varied workplace in the social psychiatric field in a team of three. Working hours are weekdays from 7 am to 4 pm. During the internship, you will be carefully introduced, accompanied and supported in achieving personal goals by an experienced social pedagogue and two work agogues.
