The Swiss Air-Rescue Rega provides professional medical assistance from the air around the clock to patients in Switzerland and worldwide. It is a non-profit and private foundation supported by more than 3.6 million patrons.
Are you looking for an internship starting mid-February 2026 for 6 or 12 months? Are you studying communication, journalism, or a related field? Are you in a gap (half) year or would you like to gain your first professional experience in the communication environment after your studies? Then you are exactly right with our seven-member team "Information and Media." It is based at the Rega Center at Zurich Airport and is responsible for Rega's internal and external communication, answers inquiries from media professionals, produces the Rega magazine "1414," the annual report, as well as the employee magazine, and manages Rega's various online channels such as the website and social media.
These activities will excite you
- Supporting media spokespersons in daily media work
- Media monitoring and issue management
- Researching, preparing, and providing diverse information for media professionals
- Collaborating in corporate publishing, including editorial tasks
- Supporting the organization and execution of media events and Rega events
- Conceptual and editorial collaboration in managing social media channels, including community management
This is what distinguishes you
- Started or completed studies in communication, journalism, or a related field (requirement)
- Committed, curious personality who researches and writes well and gladly
- Above-average good knowledge of German, knowledge of at least one other national language
- Broad general knowledge, interest in aviation and medicine
- High motivation, flexibility, and service orientation
- Strong team player and high social competence
- Enjoyment of a varied, demanding, and exciting range of tasks
- Willingness for a six- or twelve-month internship starting mid-February 2026
