Senior Physician in Internal Medicine
The Internal Medicine department of the Regional Hospital of Bellinzona and Valli (locations in Bellinzona, Faido, and Acquarossa) is an integral part of the Cantonal Hospital Authority (www.eoc.ch).
It is recognized as a professional training center, category A, with a wide multidisciplinary case load and involves collaborators not only in care but also in research and training.
The peripheral hospitals located in Leventina (Faido) and Blenio Valley (Acquarossa) complete the case profile in a dynamic of greater autonomy.
The medical team consists of 40 assistant physicians, 11 senior physicians, and senior staff from various disciplines.

The physician we are looking for must have motivation, initiative, and a spirit of collaboration. They believe, as we do, in the importance of putting the patient and their family at the center of all our attention.
Necessary requirements
- Degree/diploma in medicine (or equivalent title); for doctors with foreign qualifications, recognition/registration by the Federal Commission for Medical Professions MEBEKO and related registration with MedReg is mandatory before starting the activity.
- Specialist title in Internal Medicine obtained or in the process of being obtained (for doctors with foreign qualifications, recognition by the Federal Commission for Medical Professions MEBEKO and related registration with MedReg is mandatory before starting the activity).
- Proven knowledge of the Italian language (required level at least B2) with related registration with MedReg before starting the activity. Good knowledge of another national language besides Italian (French, German) and possibly English is also desirable but not essential.
- Certificate of free practice in the Canton of Ticino obtained before starting the activity.
- Clinical experience gained in Switzerland (preferential criterion) and teaching skills.
