The Directorate for Civil Engineering, Transport and Urban Green ensures an attractive public space. https://www.bern.ch/politik-und-verwaltung/stadtverwaltung/tvs/stadtgrun-bern manages the public green spaces and trees and operates a nursery as well as the cemeteries.

TASKS & PROFILE

What you will accomplish

Participation in public space construction projects and implementation of climate measures

Consolidation and representation of the diverse specialist concerns of Stadtgrün Bern in construction projects

Promotion and development of green infrastructure within the framework of the City of Bern's construction projects

Work in interdisciplinary teams from preliminary study to construction completion

Support for team and project partners in project development and implementation

What you bring

Education at tertiary level in landscape architecture, horticultural technology, or engineering

Confident handling of different planning stages and project phases

Experience in open space and street space projects

Commitment to the long-term preservation of the quality of life for people, fauna, and flora

Enthusiastic, assertive, and collegial personality with a sense of humor
