As part of our international development, IOTA Group is looking for its next Business Development Manager (M/F) for a permanent position based in Mies, Switzerland.
Job Description
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a central role in developing our activity with major international players in the energy, heavy industry, oil & gas, infrastructure and industrial projects sectors.
Your objective:
- Identify new business opportunities from the earliest project phases;
- Develop strategic partnerships with international clients;
- Strengthen IOTA’s presence in the fields of technical assistance, international recruitment and global talent deployment.
You will work in an international, dynamic and high-impact environment, at the heart of flagship projects worldwide.
Your main responsibilities
Business development & prospecting
- Identify and approach new clients through your network and targeted prospecting actions;
- Develop business opportunities without geographical or sectoral limits;
- Position IOTA solutions with major players in industry and energy.
Consulting & client relations
- Understand clients’ challenges and needs to propose tailored solutions;
- Promote the Group’s full range of services:
- Technical Assistance
- Employer of Record (EOR)
- International Mobility
- International Payroll
- International Recruitment
- Build a lasting trust relationship and become a strategic partner for your clients.
Management & performance
- Ensure growth and profitability of your client portfolio;
- Monitor performance indicators and actively contribute to the Group’s objectives;
- Participate in the strategic development of the activity.
Consultant management & operational follow-up
- Identify the best talents to meet project needs;
- Support consultants throughout their assignments;
- Manage negotiations of service and working conditions;
- Ensure operational and administrative follow-up of international assignments.
Qualifications
Education
- Degree at Master’s level (Bac +5) (Business School, Engineering School with dual Master’s degree);
- Or BTS in International Trade with significant experience in a company similar to IOTA Group;
- Very good command of IT tools, especially Microsoft Office 365 with advanced level in Excel;
- Excellent command of French and good level of professional English (minimum B2), both spoken and written.
Experience
- You have a successful initial experience of at least 2 to 3 years in B2B Business Development within a Technical Assistance, engineering or consulting (EXCLUDING IT) company, in an international environment;
- You master the preparation of cost estimates, commercial offers as well as business follow-up in multi-currencies;
- You have an excellent level in Excel and are comfortable with commercial data analysis;
- You are familiar with the different phases of an industrial project;
- You are used to working in a dynamic and challenging environment with regular monitoring of KPIs and performance indicators.

- Contract type: Swiss permanent contract – Full time;
- Remuneration: Fixed salary over 13 months + bonus + transport allowance
- Location: Route de la Gare 26, 1295 Mies – Switzerland
