Financial and Accounting Specialist (60/80%)

Our client is a traditional, internationally successful Swiss production and development company in the field of sophisticated skincare and dermatology. With its own Swiss research and manufacturing facility, the company stands for the highest quality, scientific expertise, and continuous innovation. In the course of healthy growth, the existing 5-person finance team is being expanded by this newly created all-round position.

Your Role & Responsibilities:

• Independent management of financial accounting (general and subsidiary ledgers)

• Participation in and preparation of periodic financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual)

• Timely processing and declaration of value-added tax

• Regular reconciliation and maintenance of all relevant balance sheet and profit and loss accounts

• Assistance in payment transactions as well as in the review and recording of creditor and bank documents

• Active management of the accounts receivable area including dunning procedures

• Management and updating of fixed assets

• Reliable mutual representation within the accounting team during absences

What distinguishes you:

• Solid commercial foundation with targeted further training in finance and accounting (e.g. professional certificate)

• Several years of practical professional experience in accounting including sound closing skills

• Proficient use of MS Office, with a strong focus on Excel (including pivot analyses)

• Business fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken

• Precise, goal-oriented and independent working style combined with a strong affinity for numbers

• Strong analytical thinking, helpfulness and flexibility in everyday work
