About the job
Specialist Responsibility in Nursing (m/f/d)
Area of specialised medical long-term care (IMC level),
Workload 80 – 100 %
Your heart beats for medical technology, but you are fed up with the extreme turnover and hectic pace in acute care? At RPB, we offer you the best of both worlds: medical complexity at IMC level, embedded in a stable long-term care structure within the framework of primary nursing.
The Regional Nursing Centre Baden (RPB) is one of the largest providers of specialised long-term care in Switzerland. We are growing massively: our specialist area is currently expanding from 10 to a future 25 nursing places. Become part of us and actively help shape the team development in the modern new building in Baden. Gain insights into the daily routine of the department.
For our location in Wettingen (from autumn 2026 in Baden), we are looking for specialists who find medical technology fascinating – whether you already have intensive care experience or want to develop into an expert with us.
With this, you support us:
- Professional leadership: In close coordination with management and the nursing specialist, you take on the professional leadership of the staff in the nursing department and ensure a high-quality nursing practice.
- Professional development: Together with the heads of the nursing departments, you reflect on, review and plan sustainable implementation strategies for the further development of employees, e.g. to consolidate the nursing process, introduce innovations or through targeted coaching.
- Consultation & support: You advise, empower and support the nursing team in complex and challenging care situations and promote professional confidence in everyday practice.
- Primary nursing: Together with another nurse, you care for 2 - 3 residents and are responsible for professional, evidence-based nursing quality. Case discussions within the team are a regular part of the exchange.
- Ventilation management: You control and monitor invasive as well as non-invasive home ventilation and ensure its proper functioning.
- Medical-technical measures: You perform demanding tasks such as tracheal cannula management, infusion therapies and complex wound management.
- Interdisciplinary collaboration: You take on daily responsibility in the nursing department and coordinate on an equal footing with specialist doctors and therapists.
- Quality assurance: You carefully maintain the nursing documentation (RAI-LTCF) and ensure a smooth handover within the team. You review work instructions and conduct knowledge transfers within the team.
This is how you convince us:
- Training as a Bachelor of Science (FH) in Nursing with knowledge in long-term care and ventilation management
- Additional training as an expert in intensive care NDS HF or NDS HF emergency care is an advantage
- You have already gained experience in professional leadership and have used it sustainably for the benefit of nursing teams
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable position
- Enjoyment in implementing and accompanying change processes
- Empathetic, innovative, flexible and cheerful personality
- Strong social and self-competence with the ability to network effectively
- Professionalism and a positive role model
This is what excites you about us:
- Specialised expertise: Medical work at a high professional level – ideal for professionals from acute care seeking a more stable environment
- Time for quality: The complexity of IMC, but with the necessary calm for careful execution.
- Pioneering spirit: The chance to be involved in the expansion of a state-of-the-art nursing department and team development in the new building.
- Individual support: Thorough induction as well as generous support for further training in ventilation and intensive care.
- Strong conditions: Attractive salaries, above-average social benefits and at least 25 days of holiday (up to 7 weeks with age).
- Work-life balance: Reliable duty planning so that you can truly plan your work and private life.
And that’s not all! Discover many more attractive benefits on our career page in the areas of work-life balance, health promotion, wellness, discounts and future prospects.
