About the job
The Oberi Children and Youth Home is an offer of residential youth welfare by the City of Winterthur. In our four coeducational and mixed-age residential groups, we offer a total of 32 places for children and young people aged 6 to 18 years.
For our residential group with eight children aged 7 to 13 years, we are looking for a committed social pedagogue from 1 November 2026. You will accompany and support the children in their daily lives and contribute with heart, commitment and professional competence to their holistic development and promotion.
Your Tasks
- Accompanying and promoting the children in everyday life as well as supporting them in coping with their developmental tasks based on the KOSS approach (Competence³)
- Case management for 2 children
- Planning, organising and conducting regular meetings with the children, parents and legal guardians within the framework of case management
- Co-shaping the team and group process
- Maintaining documentation in the case management system
- Participation in the summer camp
Your Profile
- Completed training in social pedagogy at FH or HF level
- Team, conflict and reflection skills
- Positive view of people and healthy assertiveness
- Stable and resilient personality
- Willingness to work night, evening and weekend shifts
