Your tasks
- Design the overall technical architecture of the GenAI platform, including data ingestion, LLMOps, provision of interfaces, and integration into the bank's existing IT systems
- Conceptualise the implementation of new requirements for the GenAI platform and take responsibility for ongoing development and optimisation, considering all components, efforts, operations, and company-wide as well as regulatory requirements
- Review designs, guide development teams on best architectural patterns, and decide on technologies and tools to ensure scalability and maintainability
- Collaborate with business and IT teams, especially coordinating with system architecture and IT security, to integrate business unit requirements into the existing architecture
- Support technical planning and coordination of implementations and resolve dependencies with other teams
- Monitor and evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and tools in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning
Your profile
- Several years of professional experience in the architecture and implementation of complex IT or cloud platforms, ideally focusing on AI or data platforms
- Strong expertise in system design and integration patterns such as microservices, event-driven architectures, and interface architectures
- Deep understanding and experience with LLM and LLMOps implementations, including model deployment, pipeline orchestration, and operation of a robust GenAI ecosystem
- Solid knowledge of cloud platforms, especially Azure, as well as container orchestration like Kubernetes and the realisation of scalable, resilient platform solutions
- Ability to make trade-offs between on-premises and cloud solutions, particularly regarding data residency in Switzerland and requirements of a highly regulated environment
- Ability to document and communicate technical matters clearly and to moderate and advance complex issues with various stakeholders
- Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
