Project Manager Plant Engineering 80-100% (m/f)

As a project manager, you bear overall responsibility for the execution of complex plant engineering projects from kick-off to successful commissioning and handover to the customer.

In addition to the classic project management tasks, you are also responsible for creating and reviewing process engineering designs and specifications as well as preparing the associated technical documents such as P&IDs, equipment lists, and functional descriptions of the process engineering plants. Together with the departments of layout, mechanical engineering, process engineering, automation, and electrical engineering, you develop innovative technical solutions to ensure the functionality, accessibility, and maintainability of the plant while adhering to the specified budget.

Your responsibilities also include

• Project controlling and reporting
• Change and contract management
• Communicating and negotiating with customers, partners, and suppliers
• Coordinating the work within the project team
• Checking missing parts, material control, and acceptance
• Coordination and participation in assembly and commissioning
• Preparation of documentation

Your profile and qualifications

• Technical basic training with completed further education HF / FH / ETH
• Sound knowledge of process and plant engineering
• Several years of experience as a project manager in plant engineering
• Business acumen and negotiation skills
• Enjoyment in communication with customers and suppliers
• Willingness to travel occasionally to customers worldwide
• Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written
