The SVGW is the national professional organisation for water, gas and heat supply in Switzerland and contributes to the safe and sustainable supply of drinking water, gas and heat through its guidelines, vocational training, the exercise of state-relieving supervisory tasks, consulting services as well as the certification of products, companies and individuals.

Customer Support in the Water, Gas and Heat Sector

Your Challenge

• You are the central hub between the members and customers of the SVGW, the management and our specialist departments
• You ensure that information, concerns and solutions reach where they can have an impact
• As a credible ambassador, you represent the SVGW in the German-speaking part of Switzerland and maintain personal dialogue with members, customers, utility companies, specialist partners and associations
• You actively listen to the market, identify problems, wishes and new needs and bring these in a structured manner to the management and the responsible technical departments
• You make the services of the SVGW visible in the various markets and show the target groups which offers bring them concrete benefits
• You network people and knowledge, coordinate internal contacts and reliably accompany concerns until a tangible answer or solution is reached
• You further develop the network of relationships and suitable exchange formats - personally, at events and via digital channels

Your Competence

• Technical or business administration training and experience in the utility sector
• Several years of experience in customer or member support, business development, marketing or project management
• Strong relationship and communication skills: you listen, ask questions and appear confident and reliable towards professionals, decision-makers and associations
• You quickly grasp technical and regulatory contexts and translate market needs into clear internal assignments and suitable offers
• Entrepreneurial, independent and structured action with a high service orientation and enjoyment in advancing topics
